Have you ever wondered what things you could make some day? Have you ever thought of something cool to make some day? I have! My first thing was a scooter boat I thought it would be cool to make a boat that looks like a scooter. It would be able to go any were! My second thing was the vacation mode button on a fridg. If you would press it it would have Hawaiian drinks would come out instead of water and coconut cups instead of normal cups! You should try to invent a thing you want to and show it to your class!

Sun, fun, and vacations, summer is coming! Are you exicted for summer? I am! Summer is a great time for friends, family and fun! During summer, you should be outside. Here are some fantastic outside things that you could do: volleyball, baseball, swimming, tag, climbing trees, playing with a pet, and vacations! If you are hot, you can cool off with an icy cold drink.

Water! Water is also a great way to cool down. If you have a pool ,you could go swimming. If you have a sprinkler,  you can run through it. If you have water balloons, a bucket, or cups, you can fill those up with water and have a water fight. In the evening,  you could roast marshmallows by a fire and make s’mores. You could also look up at the stars. During summer, you don’t need to be inside playing video games or watching TV!

My class and I are doing color poems with are friends in Canada. We will each do two lines of a poem and the poem would be about a color. This weeks color is Blue. Here is my two lines of the poem: Blue sounds like a baby blue bird singing a blues song. Blue taste like bright big blueberryies.  What is your two lines. If you are not doing the color poem make up two lines and tell me in a comment.

This is my red poem. Red looks like a crisp apple pie. Red feels like a bumpy raspberry in my hand. Red tastes like hot spaghetti for dinner. Red is a big red barn. Red is a ringing red telephone.

A Friend Family

Do you  have to be related to be a  family? Well, the answer is no. You do not have to be related to be a family. There are all sorts of families. There are fact families, animal families, and friend families. A friend family is very special family. Anyone who has a friend family is very lucky. You are not a friend family by just having things in common. What is a “friend family” you ask? Well, it is where you have a best friend and you do everything with him or her. I have a friend family with my best friend, Kaia.

A Great Family

To be a great family, you have to be nice, loving, and kind. They give you protection and happiness. I have been reading a magazine, and there was a story called Forever Family. As I read,  it  got me thinking about a forever family. In the story the girl was adopted and she didn’t feel like her family was her forever family. However,  just because she was adopted, and not related to the family she was with, does not make her family not a forever family, because they were!

Friday

On Friday My family and I went to my Mom’s parents, my Grandparents house. My cousins Hayley and Dallas were there, and my Uncle Ryan, and my Uncle’s girlfriend Stephanie, and her kids Michael and Savanna.  We all ate dinner and dessert. Afterwards,  my Uncle proposed to his girlfriend Stephanie.

Saturday

On Saturday we went to BJ Willy’s with my Dad’s parents/grandparents. We waited about an hour  to get seated.  Finally,  they showed us our seats. After that, a waiter came to our table and asked us what we wanted to eat. We all said pizza! Soon the waiter came out with steaming pizza. We were starving so we gobbled up the pizza. Then we talked, and left for home.

Sunday

On Sunday when I woke up ,my Sister and I made a card for my Mom. I made a gift too. I went downstairs and gave my Mom her card and her gift.  Then I went back upstairs to get ready for church. After church, we ate  brunch that my Dad made.

Do you know what miles In May is? Miles In May is a May exercise activity. You get a card. On the card you will see a picture of twenty feet. What you do is you either run, walk or jog the track. Once you go around the recess teacher will hole punch your card on the first foot. Once you go around five times, on Friday, you will get a plastic foot charm for a necklace. If  I run ten laps how many miles is that?

Do you know what Mothers Day is? Do you know what you celebrate on Mother’s Day? What you are celebrating is your mom. On Mother’s Day you need to be thinking about your mom. Just like Father’s Day you celebrate your father but on Mother’s Day you celebrate your mom. Your mom does a lot for you so you should do something for your mom. What will you do for your mom?
